3D models of cities

A 3D model is a mathematical model of an object in three-dimensional space.Any shape (sculpture, building, etc.) or surface (landscape or bas-relief) can be represented by a set of triangles and rectangles. Modelled objects can be of different sizes, from a small detail to a big city. The methods we use allow us to construct a 3D polygonal model of an object based on the results of the analysis of the photographs taken.

Using photos with geodesic links allows the creation of models in precise geographical coordinates.

The mosaic tissues are directed based on tissue atlas made on the surface of the model.

The use of hierarchical tiles allows the visual demonstration of 3D models of large and detailed objects.
